Podman commands are largely compatible with Docker

Use --rm to auto-remove containers after exit

$ podman run -d --name myapp -p 8080:80 nginx

Run a container in background.

$ podman ps -a

List all containers.

$ podman exec -it myapp /bin/bash

Execute command in running container.

$ podman stop myapp

Stop a running container.

$ podman rm myapp

Remove a container.

$ podman logs -f myapp

Follow container logs.

$ podman inspect myapp

View container details.
