Commands

Interactive file search

$ fzf

Launch fuzzy finder for files.

Search with preview

$ fzf --preview 'cat {}'

Show file content preview.

Open in editor

$ vim $(fzf)

Find and open file in Vim.

Multi-select

$ fzf -m

Select multiple files with Tab.

Git branch switch

$ git checkout $(git branch | fzf)

Fuzzy search and checkout branch.

History search

$ history | fzf

Search command history.

Kill process

$ kill -9 $(ps aux | fzf | awk '{print $2}')

Find and kill process interactively.

Reverse search (Ctrl+R)

$ export FZF_CTRL_R_OPTS='--reverse'
